Ooh I don't want to sound negative among all those positive crits. Your work is spectacular and I only wish I had a fraction of your talent. But I think that the crop in this piece bothers me. It's so tight and the position of her head makes her look crammed into the canvas. I know you were using a photo ref, but could you have given her more room? I would make this same crit on the photo. Still this show your mastery over your medium.

Thank you very much for your comments and crits tazeen : you're right about the bottom of the neck, I've used a piece of paper to smudge it.... I had no time to use crosshatching everywhere Lu-Court : I had not thought about the fact the neck could look broken.... you're right Btw, I don't like the thing down right too dart : you're totally right about the quality, as I've said in the description, I was lacking of time (I'm still lacking of time). Thanks a lot for your crit starqueen : the composition is too heavy on the upper part.... I should have worked more on it Thanks again everybody!

Really gorgeous pose you captured, looks so fragile and innocent. The shadowed areas (neck, armpit, arm) are really muddy, but other then that it looks fantastic-and I know scanners tend to destroy what the actual drawing looks like. I use kleenex and blending stumps to blend graphite, and I go with mechanical pencil a lot when I want to blend skin perfectly. Not critiquing just giving you another way

Beautiful! I think the designs on her arm would be great but they appear to just float above the skin somehow. Also, it seems like the perspective/angle of the neck is a little off. I'm not sure how though. Overall it's really quite stunning though. I really like the pose. So unique! And the feather and hair are a nice touch!

Thankies peepz Alleggra : I've done them very quickly so they are not very well integrated indeed Thanks! Gods-Mistake : I just use crosshatching in the dark areas and tiny hatches in one direction only for the light ones. The lines are very close to each other so they merge and they give a "creamy" look to the shading
