Nice work on the face and hair. Great rendering too. But the arms and hands look huge for this little girls body. Everything else is wonderful, but this honestly stood out when I first looked at it. Hope that's helpful. Otherwise, great work!

Very nice indeed, and amazing pencil work as always. My only crit would be the light spot over the right eye. I first saw it on a brighter monitor, and it was one of the first things that popped out at me since it looks like an unfinished spot. The light on the cheeks doesn't seem unfinished to my eye however, so I can't say it's the technique. Just something seems off about it to me. None the less, it's a minor detail in an otherwise spectacular piece. +Max

Thank you very very much for all your comments ppl Arne : you're right, I had no ref for the dress, butterflies, flowers and bubbles so it's not as "soft" as the girl I'll try to do better next time kairikeymaster : I know the expression is mischevious, and I like the contrast between the expression and the rest of the picture but you're right, it could be better with an "angel" expression.... Codehead : I hadn't noticed that first, but reading your comment I agree with you, the spot looks unfinished.... I'll correct that mwilli424 : you're right the photo was cropped so I had to imagine the rest of the body... I usually draw adults so it's very hard for me to find the right proportions for a child. Your pencil artworks are absolutely fantastic, a game of light and shadows. I like the deep contrasts of the butterflies. Only the bubble in the foreground seems to be a bit to thick. Perhaps I like this portrait especially because it reminds me a bit of a friend I once had - I can't imagine that anyone wouldn't be able not to like it. Go on with this great kind of work!

Another fine Job you did ! I have seen so many 5B drawings which look like finger painting ... Anyway my Critique is that about that contrast difference,the reason its so disturbing is because of the empty space in the background.There is a really nice dynamic going on but is disturbed by the background contrast...If you dont mind ,i did a little editing on your work to explain what i mean...(Hope your not Angry ) The first image is the edited version i aded a few black spots which suppose to be butterflies(with dark contrast) and there is a small bubble on the upper right corner... You can see the added objects in the second image the blue parts are added by me,the orange is the original... The dynamic im talking about is in the 3 rd image,the bubbles form a dynamic angle from the right side,which needs to be balanced by more butterflies on the left side...A circular motion...which is completed by a very very cute young lady in the center ... What im trying to say in general is that you can put that contrast difference to a good use... Anyway this is my opinion,i thought it would be better and easier that way but ofcourse its yourwork...... 8/8
