Diane! You surprise me! This is a very powerfull drawing. Chapeau on the patience. It's rewarding. The using of reference is a smart choice. Next time, use reference for snakes aswell. It will only help getting the effect more convincing. Thumbs up!

A bold drawing from someone I wouldn't expect - great range (and rage). There is nothing wrong with using a photo reference; it seems to have served you well. Great visual depth! Hihi! Great work. I love the attention to detail and this piece shows strong effort. I'm not sure your intent here though - If you wanted realistic or cartoony. You almost pull off realism in the face, but in my own opinion, the snakes are too cartoony ^^ I'd suggest drawing snakes from life and/or photography a bit more before making another attempt at something like this ~_^ .. Or, you know... Drawing is the best way to learn! ;D This is amazing, though. I'm a big fan.
