I will first state that the comment here applies to all of your elf drawings: Exquisitely rendered, great control of fine and coarse lines, more contrasty than most, which I say as a compliment Very effective textural treatment of all areas, which really helps elements to stand out (such as the metal earring against the cheek). Awesome drawing, but I agree with kittyKat, not really elfish. The things on her cheeck and nose (freckles?) look like a drawing slipout or something, don't know if it's intentional, but it kind of ruins the drawing for me

Thank you very much for your comments Angeloonie : The things you have mentioned were supposed to be freckles, but they were very light, so my scanner has eaten some of them and they don't look like freckles now. It was better on the original drawing.

Outstanding work. The tones and detail are excellent as well as her pose and expression. I love this Diane. My only critique concerns what I think are freckles along side her nose. To me they are distracting and look more like smudges than freckles. Excellent work nonetheless. Just looking up at other comments, I see someone else have referred to the freckles. I usually comment first and then read other critiques as I have done here. Good work Diane!!!

Your way of drawing hair is getting better. That's good. Try to put an eye on how the things looks on different angles. On this case, look at the nose and his right eye. You're drawing them on a different perspective than the one they should be because of the perspective on his face (I use to do this too when I dont take refferences ). Even so, good job!
