Right after much looking, again I found it hard to pick something out, but I have, to me the face near the eyes seems to wide, and it makes the eyes look too close together, but that's just me... Its either that or the eyes aren't 'long' enough

The edited version looks better, I think. And it's a funny thing Inabottle mentioned it earlier, because i also saw a Val Kilmer portrait. One crit: maybe you should try to smoothen some parts, where you use 'islands' now. (the nose for instance, or the eye-brows) See Grafiker's works for example. And remember; A portrait takes him 5 days or more.

You're right I totally agree with you but.... the paper was so bad that I have done this one very very fast, and I have my exams to prepare too I'll try to spend 5 days or more doing a portrait, I think it would help me to improve myself His "Val Kilmer look" was not intentional, because I'm not a great Val Kilmer fan and I didn't use any reference, but I agree with you When Inabottle told me my elf looked like Val Kilmer, I have searched some Val Kilmer photos, and I have seen he was right... Hope I won't draw Schwazzenegger next time lol

I think that the hair is actually pretty gorgeous in my opinion. Gives it that sleek and silky golden look even though it is Black and White. ^__^ I see it in colour though and it's breathtaking! Marvelous work!

if he's an elf from Tolkien world, there's an historical error : they don't have beards (but nothing's said about them wearing piercing). More seriously, you really improved hair drawing in more recent works of yours than this one.
